INVESTIGATION OF THE SYMBOLISM OF BODILY SIGNS IN THE CONTEXT OF MODERN YOUTH SUBCULTURES

Failure of the researches directed on the analysis of those visual manifestations of bodily culture of a modern person as a tattoo conditioned the urgency of the given research. In this paper the socio-cultural foundations of the tattoo, its traits. The author analyzes the specifics of sign-symbolic manifestations tattoo used to representatives of youth subcultures. So the symbolism of the tattoo, you can define the political preferences of its bearer dominant cultural environment to which it belongs. Studies have shown that aggressive tattoo associated with the cult of power, manifestation of dominance. In turn radical aesthetic, not stiff rigid discipline subculture with their plots and drawings show the internal quest and dissatisfaction with life in society. At the same time, the tattoo is not only a visual representative code and attempt to add yourself those qualities which adds confidence, promote adaptation in the modern urban environment.
