POSSIBILITY OF CONTEMPORARY ARTS RESEARCH FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THEOLOGICAL TRAINING DISCIPLINES IN RUSSIAN UNIVERSITIES

The article discusses the appropriateness and relevance of cultural studies in contemporary Russian science. The world community of scientists believe that it is time to change the focus from purely basic research to applied theoretical and practical research. This trend is due to problems associated with the global transformation of the world, which has led to qualitative changes in almost all social, economic and political processes of the countries of the world (from Europe to the arctic, from the least developed to developing countries). In an era of increasing global transformations necessary to study changes in the essence of cultural phenomena, it is necessary for scientists early theoretical understanding of culture and its practical solutions to the transformation of the social and cultural reality. This article discusses the priorities of cultural studies to the formation of disciplines within the Orthodox theology in the educational space Russian universities provide general directions of research in “Theology of Orthodoxy.”
