THE PIKTORIALISM AS THE PHENOMENON IN WORLD PHOTOGRAPHIC PROCESS AT THE TURN OF THE XIX–XX CENTURIES

In article the short history, features and a role of the piktorial photo in world photographic process at a turn of the XIX-XX century is considered. Lightgraphylong time was considered as the auxiliary technical tool in scientific researches, painting, an everyday life of the person. The Piktorial photo which was originated in the 1890th years, raises for the first time a question of the photo as of art, and of the photographer as of the artist creating a unique, valuable work of art. In article premises of the piktorial photo, some program articles of photographers-piktorialists reflecting important concepts of a current, and also its correlation with painting from which it took esthetic and theoretical postulates on art for reasons for the art status are considered. In article the most important names of the photographers-piktorialists which works are stored today in large museum collections also are called. We tried to define a role of the piktorial photo in the history lightgraphy.
