SEMIOTICS OF SOFTWARE IN CULTURAL ASPECTS

The development of the modern world is increasingly proving that the technical determinism gives way to a research culture. Evolutionary development of new technology sets a new direction semiotic research: the definition of values and meanings of programming languages, depending on the attitudes, values, norms and cultural purposes. Application possibilities methodological apparatus of semiotics to the study of language can detect the direction to solve the problems of visualization, sets approaches to usability evaluation not only the language but also the software interface of the site, etc. The problem of visualization software is culturally – justified nature as only the culture defines the meaning of the image. A complex system of the language of culture, which is operating in a dialectical contradiction, determines the systems of the assessment tools and the construction of both the real and the technical world; thereby it is establishing the preconditions of creation semiotics engineering and technology. In this sense, the rendering process must match the programming language and programming language must match the language of the culture for this program.
