ART’S CHARACTERISTICS OF O. RYABOVOL IN RUSSIAN CERAMICS TRADITION

This work includes the research of art features of Olga Viktorovna Ryabovol, Krasnoyarsk ceramics master. The art disposition of the specific master on the arena of the Russian ceramics art is considered. Traditions which O. Ryabovol adopts from other schools are investigated and the originality of this master’s creativity is determined. The analysis of previous ceramics schools allocated two traditions which are used by O. V. Ryabovol in her art. These are Skopinskaya school and Gzhel school. Traditions can be traced in subject and plot loaning, and in certain technique cases. The increase of decorativism and loss of functional qualities are the main characteristics of O. V. Ryabovol’s art. The principle of pictorialism as the way of introduction of certain ideas and psychological implication into an subject’s abstract form. The reasons of easel forms development in ceramics: an aspiration to escape into the inhabited space, which has not only the public, but also a private meaning.
