AGE AS A FACTOR OF OPERATIVE WORKER ACTIVITY EFFECTIVENESS

The problems connected with professionally significant qualities of operatives of the organs of Internal Affairs are viewed. An indicative list of non-legal factors that influence the effectiveness of a young operative is given in the author’s version. On the basis of analyses of scientific publications on the effectiveness of legal experience, practice of training and functioning of the organs of Internal Affairs operative services an attempt to define a way to minimize the degree of influence of such factors as the age of a young expert on the effectiveness of his work is made. The need and the opportunity to influence the effectiveness through the development of communication skills is justified considering the variety of forms and methods of work of operative service workers. It is noted that the present educational programs in special educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia may perceive the available scientific and methodological basis and focus on the issue of trainees acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of psychology of communication.
