ROC AS ACTOR OF MODERN SOCIAL-POLITICAL PROCESS

Russian Orthodox Church influence in world political process and in social-political life of Russia is considered. Work of representatives of ROC at interstate institutes of the power, a globalization era, associates with upholding of the principles of humanity. Globalization created the new problems which decision various actors in world politics including religious faiths are engaged before mankind. The management of ROC actively lobbies the position: on protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens. The ROC is one of possible actors in social-political life of Russia, capable to have impacts on social-political consciousness and on decision-making of institutes of the government. In the solution of this problem actively are engaged as well other religious organizations. Political elite of the Russian Federation and the management of ROC in common participate in world political process, including at the decision-making, connected with support of peacekeeping activity. Globalization played a role in an articulation of the symphony of the authorities in Russia. Social-political functioning of ROC is popular among political elite of Russia which count on conducting constructive dialogue. The ROC is the independent subject in social-political life. Decisions made by religious figures find support among the public.
