PRINCIPLES OF ECOLOGICAL DESIGN

The article is a continuation of the previously published material about the formation and development of ecological design as one of modern design and art direction. Principles of ecological design accumulate in themselves the best features of rational functionalism, systems and environmental approach to design, based on the basic principles of the theory of sustainable development (1970), as well as ecology, anthropology, environmental sociology, environmental ethics, video ecology, environmental psychology, bionics and many other sciences. Authors formulated the principles of ecological design, which base on the principles of sustainable consumption, and must be implemented as topical, logical, economical and ethical. These principles follow from the laws of ecology B. Commoner. Design objects made by these principles should be encouraged to greener lifestyles, speak a clear argument in favor of environmentally friendly and economical consumption, generate ecological consciousness.
