THE SIGNIFICANCE OF BACHʼS MOTETS IN FORMATION GERMANY GENRE MODEL

Purpose of the article - to trace the general laws of motetʼs genre within the German tradition on the example of Bachs creation. Revealed features of German motet in Bach’s one-choir and two-choir compozition BWV 225-230, BWV 71, BWV 118. Identify relevant Bach motets understanding of the genre of his contemporaries. From the position of the German tradition belonging analyzed texts motets, features their shape, polyphonic devices, music-rhetorical figures, choral effects, texture techniques. Studied types of motets: through simulation of the structure, converted to motet with deployed partitions of fuga; continuing Palestrina tradition two-choir composition; variant structure motets and concentric form. The article covers the historical period of great motet: the preparatory stage XVII., Bach classic period, prospects of development of the genre from composers of the XIX century.
