INTEGRATION PROCESSES IN THE CULTURAL SPACE TRANSBAIKALIA: PAST AND PRESENT

This article discusses the formation of cultural space as a result of the Transbaikal cultural integration of Russian and Buryat ethnic groups. Examples from the history of settling the territory of modern Buryatia and Trans-Baikal Territory, compared facts historically far apart events, confirming the process of mutual enrichment and different cultures, extensive material drawn from the history of the region’s artistic culture (literature, painting , music). Urgency of addressing the cultural space in a particular region at this stage due to the need of studying the mechanisms of functioning of the steadily developing socio-cultural systems, representing multinational cultural whole. Inevitability of entering the beginning of the process of globalization is seen in studies of various sectors of the economy, culture, including in the field of education. Productive way to overcome the negative effects of globalization – «involved in the process of globalization of the world, enriching it with those national values and achievements that are demanded by world culture». This means that any innovation must be considered in the context of peaceful coexistence experience gained peoples of Russia for centuries, which contributed to the formation in different areas of multicultural enclave mentality.
