The article discusses the problem of Russian architectural senses stabilization in the first half of the XIX century. The senses transferred by various architectonic-spatial images in works by A. S. Pushkin are considered. The interrelation of architectural objects and those verbal images is accented from two sides: when properties of objects were transferred to the sphere of life universal values, being replaced with very abstract concepts and when the architectural lexicon was involved as the metaphors broadcasting the different information. The architecture is shown as a subject domain of life judgment with evident expression of aesthetic and ethical values. It is shown how the architectural space by poet’s memory is animated in episodes of general history or someone’s private destiny. Interference of Russian fiction and Russian architecture historicism as the movement associated with the development of the past forms in the present forms is detected. Meanings by A. S. Pushkin that were introduced into this process are actual for professional awareness of architecture infinite responsibility and for public awareness of the humanistic culture integrity.
