THE ORIGINS OF CREATIVITY OF V.V. SOFRONITSKY

The article is devoted to the figure and work of the great Russian pianist Vladimir Sofronitsky. The introduction briefly describes childhood impressions, largely determined the creativity of the artist. In the main part of the article highlights the most significant aspects of the life and art of Sofronitsky. The greatest attention is paid to the role of Scriabin in his art. Particularly actual becomes the high moral function of performance for Sofronitsky, that brings him to the grand creation of Scriabin - «Mystery.» The second line of Sofronitsky’s unique pianism due to his love of musical Romanticism. Also reveals another beginnings of his creativity and psychological preconditions of its relation to his sound recordings. Highlights the role of ensemble playing in performance of Sofronitsky. «Sofronisty» were an exclusive social circle round the pianist, many of whom wrote the valuable memories of his life and work, and helped to save his recordings. In conclusion we noted the uniqueness and mystique creative figure of Sofronitsky.
