COMPARATIVE EFFECTIVENESS OF DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES IN THE TREATMENT OF BREAST TUMORS IN DOGS AND CATS

The study of the spread of breast tumors in dogs and cats in the city of Tyumen. Tumors made up 33.8% of all complaints of non-communicable disorders, among which 31.9% occupied breast tumors varying degree maturity. When comparing different methods for the treatment of breast tumors found that the best results were achieved with complete surgical removal of the tumor site with the capture of healthy tissue, and further use of metronomic therapy the basis of which amounted to cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors. Objective therapeutic effect metronomic therapy was 83.3% at 88.9% of cats and dogs. The use of chemotherapy has been less effective and was 72.7% at 57.1% of cats and dogs. Use of the drug Alizin allowed in 71.4% cases, to deal effectively with a benign growth of breast tissue, without additional interventions. Dogs with inflammatory breast cancer treated with the drug Previkoks, so have improved the quality of life and survival period was 36.1 + 4.73 days.
