ACTUAL PROBLEMS OF COUNTERACTION TO ILLEGAL DRUG TRAFFICKING IN MODERN CONDITIONS

In article the current state of drug trafficking in the territory of the Russian Federation is analyzed. Among numerous types of criminal activity illicit trafficking in drugs is the most mass and organized as in illegal production and sale of drugs thousands criminal elements relating to various sectors of society are attracted. One of the factors causing such situation, the geographical arrangement of Russia is: it is on a way of a transfer of drugs on the territory of member states of the European Union. In this regard the part of drugs settles on the way, i.e. in the territory of our state. The population of subjects of the Russian Federation adjoining on such republics as Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, involuntarily falls the “first” victim of a drug traffic as exactly the way of drugs to depth of the country and to Europe here begins further. In article it is specified that drug traffic suppression in the Russian Federation requires the coordinated interstate approach to providing a reliable barrier and crossing of borders of the states. It is shown what it is necessary to carry out measures for counteraction implementation.
