The transition from an industrial society to an information society, in which the main resource becomes information has been distinctive feature of our times is. Penetrating into all spheres of activity of the society and the state, the information becomes the specific political, material and cost expression. In response to the increasing role of the information on the modern stage, the legal regulation of public relations arising in the information sphere is the priority direction of the process of lawmaking in the Russian Federation, one of the goals of which is the normative legal regulation of the activity of the subjects of the Russian Federation in the sphere of informatization. Highlighting issues of a legal confirmation of the role and place of information resources of the region in the system of management of the economy and social processes in the society. We consider a system of informing the population about the activities of the Federal bodies of state power and bodies of state power of the subjects of the Russian Federation.
