The analysis of influence of globalization on cooperation of Russian Orthodox Church and public authorities in modern Russia is carried out. In work the attention to transformation of ideas about functioning of institutes of civil society taking into account globalization processes is focused. Globalization processes ambiguously have impact on development of political institutes of the power. The main aim which is pursued by the management of Russian Orthodox Church at interaction with authorities, is distribution and preservation of traditional cultural wealth. In political activity orthodox priests are guided by the main postulates of Christian democracy. The Russian Orthodox Church is one of the most active institutes of civil society defending a position of preservation of traditional values in the Russian society. The Russian Orthodox Church pursues policy of lobbying of idea of rescue of human soul through the orthodox belief, capable to resist to mass spiritless culture. Sociocultural transformations caused by globalization comprehensively are investigated by orthodox figures.
