ALLIANCE OF THE SIBERIAN AND EASTERN ART: THE EXPERIENCE OF THIRD INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL OF THE ASIA-PACIFIC REGION (2012)

The subject and theme of the article is an alliance of the Siberian and Eastern Art at the example of a specific sociocultural project - Third International Music Festival of Asian-Pacific Region, which was held in 2012 in Krasnoyarsk. The method of article is art critical reflection of cultural events, the methodology is based on the concept of idealforming entity of culture and theory of visual thinking. The main results are following: the alliance has a political context, and it was considered as the ideal of political and cultural order. Conclusionsare following: it’s the positive trend’s assessment of cultural policies, but at the same time it’s fixing of the problem of the reception of the festival as a whole (lack of a culture of participation), an art space of the festival was presented at separate venues in the city and it makes it possible to detect the comparative characteristics of mentalities, knowledge of which may be a factor in the formation of an alliance of the Siberian and Oriental art.
