PROBLEMS OF PROTECTION OF WITNESSES AND VICTIMS IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS

The article outlines the main provisions determining the level of the rights and lawful interests of individuals in criminal proceedings. Safeguarding the rights and lawful interests of individuals should cover all forms of a responsible party to legal requirements of any legal proceedings, including witnesses and victims , including : information about the person possessing rights and their interpretation; create the conditions necessary for the full realization of human rights , protection of rights of violations, restoration of rights. Studied in sufficient detail the protection of witnesses and victims in criminal proceedings. The author concludes on the need to develop a comprehensive program for the protection of participants in criminal proceedings at the level of the state. State protection of witnesses and other participants in criminal proceedings is a problem not only of the Russian Federation , and the entire civilized community. Amidst all these above factors, is still extremely urgent problem of the real security of victims of crime.
