В статье рассматривается развитие визуальной антропологии как отдельной области гуманитарного знания, обозначаются основные линии ее развития в контексте изучения визуальных систем индигенных народов, т.е. такой этнокультурной группы, чье развитие не обозначается в законченном качестве, а продолжается в процессе взаимодействия с мультикультурным сообществом. Доказывается, что визуальная антропология обладает большим потенциалом для исследования коренных народов, включая коренные народы Севера и Сибири. Предлагаются принципы и подходы визуально-антропологических исследований коренных малочисленных народов Красноярского края. Визуальная антропология рассматривается как концептуальная основа для современных музейных практик.

The article discusses the development of visual anthropology as a separate field of humanities designated main lines of its development in the context of studying visual systems of indigenous peoples, ie such ethno-cultural group, whose development is not indicated in the finished quality, and continues the process of interaction with the multicultural community. It is proved that visual anthropology has great potential for the study of indigenous peoples, including indigenous peoples of the North and Siberia. Proposes principles and approaches visual anthropological studies of Indigenous Peoples of the Krasnoyarsk Region. Visual anthropology is seen as a conceptual framework for modern museum practice.
